A group of Scouts from 1st Kewstoke have unearthed a historic long lost sports trophy. The trophy was found when the Scouts were tidying up an old store room and was awarded every year to the winner of the Axe District Scouts sports competition. The trophy was first awarded to 3rd Weston-super-Mare Scouts in 1987 and was last awarded to 1st Banwell Scouts in 2009. 1st Kewstoke were the most successful Scouts having won the trophy four times between 1997 and 2000.
The Scouts presented the Trophy to Richard Hurst Assistant District Commissioner for Axe District Scouts during an IT session held at the Campus.
