The plan will be to leave Weston on Sunday 26th July 2020 and travel by coach overnight to Kandersteg arriving on Monday 27th July 2020 for 7 nights Camping. We will leave KISC on Monday 3rd August 2020 and arrive back in Weston on Tuesday 4th August 2020.
During our week we will be taking part in lots of activities both on and off the site. These are yet to be confirmed but it is likely to include the following
- An overnight hike staying in a Mountain Hut
- Zipwire/High Ropes
- Visit to Mountain Lake
- White Water Rafting
- World Scout Workshop
- Wet n Wild activity at local outdoor swimming pool
- 1st August activities for National Swiss Day
- International Campfire
The cost is likely to be somewhere between £600 and £650 which will include Transport, Campsite fees, Food, Activities and Travel Insurance.
To register an interest please complete the details below before the end of May 2019.
Once we have an idea of numbers we can then confirm dates and a final cost. At that point a deposit will be required to secure a place on the trip. A payment plan will be put in place to spread the cost over the months leading up to the trip, and no doubt some fundraising can be organised to subsidise the cost.
This trip is open to any Young Person who will be a Scout on 1st July 2020.
